In order to
challenge the leading plain mineral water brands in the GCC market, Al Rayan
water decided to create a new breakthrough water bottle. The challenge was: the
design needed to be distinct enough to become an eye-catcher and make the brand
a market leader, while also conveying Al Rayan's values and attributes, i.e. the
freshness and the purity of its water. Apart from that, technical factors had
to be taken into account, since a new bottle would require the creation of a
special production line.
We emphasised the freshness of Al Rayan water by giving the bottle the look of a crystal-like sculpture with a distinctive pattern. The transparency and simplicity of the bottle stresses the purity of the water it contains.
