After a change in ownership, VEM Aktienbank (as the bank was then known) realised that a comprehensive rebranding process was necessary. Joint workshop sessions with the team of INTO Branding facilitated the creation of a clear brand positioning by working out VEM’s key strengths. As a result, the bank’s agility, based on low hierarchy and high expertise, and its personal approach have been identified as key differentiators.
Subsequently, INTO Branding developed and registered the new name »Dero Bank«, “dero” meaning »your« in Old High German. The accompanying design system is based on the relationship between Dero Bank and its clients. The logo comprises two small circles, representing this connection. The first circle stands for »you« (Dero), the second one for the bank. Overall, Dero Bank now presents itself as a modern, trusted and honest partner for the issuing business.
